How do you make the dumplings for Chicken & Dumplings?? The kind that you just drop in?

The best and EASIEST way to make egg dumplings is to just mix all purpose flour with eggs. Depending on the size and how many you want to make, when I make chicken dumpling soup, I make the soup (chicken stock, chicken, vegetables & seasonings). I mix around 3 cups of flour and just start adding eggs. I use a strong wooden spoon and keep adding eggs until the mixture is stiff and a golden yellow color. Then I boil a pot of water and drop tablespoon size amounts into the water and boil for 15 minutes. I drain and add to my soup. They are easy and sooooo delicious!
