Black women, what do you like to talk about?

They hired a new co-worker for my team at work. She's female. And black. Our first female and first black on the team. This is the first time I've ever worked with a black. Surprising, since not many females in computer programming, much less a black one. Guess my company didn't play around with its diversity efforts. I want to make small talk with her but don't know if the normal subjects would be culturally relevant to her. So, lovely black ladies, tell me, what do you like to talk about, something suitable for small talk? What are the hot topics in the black community these days? What are topics I should avoid?
