Dumplings with sauce inside?

I once had delicious little dumplings with sauce inside of them. A Vietnamese roommate I had introduced me to them, I'm not 100% if they are from Vietnam. Basically, it was a delicious doughy dumpling and when you bit it, it had delicious broth inside with beef or pork. I cannot remember the name of these- I now live in San Diego and I'm craving these! Can anyone help me?
