I need a good old fashioned Chicken and Dumplings recipe.?
Making dumplings is somewhat like making biscuits. If you do it frequently, then you tend to get good at it. If you seldom make them, then the result can be quick different. In the case of dumplings, you run the risk of dumplings that just disintegrate in the broth or turn into hockey pucks. You should try at least once to make them yourself. And I wish you every good luck. However, if you have a problem with them, or just need a quick dumpling, then use Pillsbury Frozen Biscuits. Thaw, flatten, cut into quarters, and then drop into simmering broth. They are actually quite good. Better than canned biscuits.
